| Message for Village |
It is my humble request to all the youth please fulfill our village, state and then whole country with your education, hard work, honesty ,manners and good character. Do respect and serve your mother, father and all other elders. Save yourself with all the bad habits (devil activities) of this world be a good human being and make your parents and society prideful on you. Blessing of elders has lots of power; if you have the blessing of your elder even your rivals can not do your bad. So never hurt your well wishers. Someone well said that no cares if is God is with us. |

On 16-4-1979 I joined Haryana Police after completion of my BA 2nd year. The former chief minister Ch. Bansi Lal was very impressed with my honesty and clean record. He had recommended me and gave chance to serve him as his personal bodyguard. I had learned a lot from him. By working with him I always put the department’s possible area of improvement and he actually solved lots. I took voluntary retirement in 1999. I also want to mention that I am the life time member of Hariyana Police Association and All India Non- Gazetted Officer Federation.
After voluntary retirement I tried to do some social activity with the help of my villagers friends/brothers. I got some success also in some of those. I got to realized that we should appreciate the icons of village or state or we can say of society, who actually did something for village and society. With the help of social activist Sh. Umed Singh Phogat we organized one appreciation event on 23rd March, 2008 and 23rd March, 2009 for the icons of village on the occasion of Shahidi Divas. These icons were from every field like army, civil services, social activist and farmers also. We present them the PAGDI (turban) and DOGA (Bamboo Cane) and took their blessings. This event inspired a lot our youth.
With the traditional farming I have also started Honey bee farming, fish farming, Pig farming, kanchuwa (Earthworm) farming and also planted thousands of plant for environmental cause. By impressed with these activities Mr. Harminder Singh Chadda Minister of Agriculture Department of Hariyana honored me with title Progressive farmer with 25,000/- cash prize for 2004-05 and 2007-08. In March 2012 I have awarded as state farmer award along with 1,00,000/- cash prize from Krisshi Vigyan Kendra. I have also represented Haryana in front of Ministry of Agriculture India at Delhi for Minimum Support Price. I also have the membership of “Agriculture Technical Management Agency”, “Food Safety Mission” and “All India Aromatic Plant Association”.
By grace of God I have two children. My Son Nirmal Singh Phogat working in Health Department. Daughter Alka Phogat is MA(Economics) she was topper of MD University in 2008. She also got “Sahara Scholarship” with 12,000/- cash prize for NCC – ‘Cee’ Certificate. I did marriage of my son without any dowry and without any special (unnecessary) showoff and advising the same to others it makes you family happy. My Son and I already have done eye donation so that after us some one can see this wonderful world. We also doing blood donation frequently and God makes us capable we will continue the same for rest of our life.
